We know that you have many options when fulfilling this requirement, but we are confident you'll be satisfied with our service.
Your Pre-Bankruptcy Credit Counseling Course will:
- The online certificate course will allow filers the opportunity to fulfill the budget briefing/credit counseling session requirements on a secured website via the internet.
- The session will include registration, disclosure agreement, options for payment, and an educational course which will last approximately 60 minutes.
- The online course will require students to enter information in regard to their individual income, assets, monthly household expenses, as well as secured and unsecured debts.
- A personalized financial summary and list of debt options to consider will be generated and presented to filers at the conclusion of the online course.
- Upon completion of the course, each filer will be instructed to contact a Certified Credit Counselor to review the information and findings and receive a certificate of completion.
Your Post-Bankruptcy Debtor Education Course will:
- Your course will last the minimum 2-hours specified by the 2005 Bankruptcy Act.
- You will be instructed on subjects ranging from Household Budgeting and Personal Spending Behaviors to Credit and Debt, as well as Risk Management (Insurance) and Consumer Protections.
- You will be provided with tips and suggestions designed to improve your financial situation.
- Upon completion of your course you will be provided a Certificate of Debtor Education via email for you to print and deliver to your legal counsel within 3 business days. Expedited service may be available upon request.
